Each year from June to November some 8,000 magnificent humpback whales and their calves visit the pristine waters of Coffs Harbour. You will be in total awe of their spectacular behaviour. Imagine the thrill of a 50 foot, 40 ton whale as it launches itself out of the water in striking fashion right before your eyes, then waves it pectoral fins and slaps its tail. It’s awesome!

The Big Banana
Coffs Harbour's and indeed Australia's most famous icon would have to be THE BIG BANANA.
This giant structure located just north of Coffs Harbour on the Pacific Highway, 565 kilometres north of Sydney and 450 kilometres south of Brisbane is probably the most well known "Big Thing" in Australia.

The Clog Barn
Experience the colour and charm of Holland without leaving Coffs Harbour. You can even see clogs being made by hand!

Raleigh Vineyard & Winery
Raleigh Vineyard and Winery is situated south of Coffs Harbour on the banks of the Bellinger River in Raleigh, a small settlement on the Mid North Coast od NSW< Australia. Visit the winery and try their unique red and white wines, ports and the famous Brandy Crème Liquer.

Platypus Afternoon Tour

Surfing Classes
Participating in the surf classes offered by the team of professional staff will ensure you experience a positive, successful and fun time in the water.
Coffs Harbour experiences lovely summers and mild winters. The water rarely drops below 18deg;C/60°F in winter, which is warmer than most northern Hemisphere summers!
You can often surf with dolphins and, between June and August, the whales swim by.
The aim is to provide surfing programs that maximise performance enhancement to people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds while proving and ensuring a safe and fun learning environment.
National Parks and Solitary Marine Park offer beautiful sights and great walks, fishing, diving and boating. It's a great place to visit.
